Management Experience

• As Controller for one of the largest water storage districts in California, I managed a staff of seven professionals. My responsibilities included establishing, monitoring, and managing the accounting and internal control system, reporting to state and federal oversight agencies, and designing and installing the data processing and billing systems.

• Provided “Controller for Hire” services for a large local certified public accounting firm, whereby I functioned as an interim financial controller to the construction and manufacturing market.

Investigation, Forensic, and Financial Attest Experience

• As a certified public accountant, I have performed financial and investigative audits of financial statements of state and local governments, non-profit organizations, and nonpublic entities. I have extensive experience in state and local taxes, federal income and estate tax law consultation, and representation of entities and individuals before taxing authorities and the Federal Tax Court.
