Conference Attendance: In August of 2022, I was selected to participate in the Florida Nurse Practitioner Network (FNPN) statewide annual conference. There, I presented speakers to the audience and provided guidance to help coordinate the 3-day event. I work closely with the past president Dr. Arlene Wright who individually selected student FNP students for this event. In 2021, I attended a virtual conference for the ANA and held a brief virtual interview with Dr. Ernest Grant about his contributions as the first African American male president of the organization, how to break barriers in the nursing profession, etc.

At FNPN conference year 2022, all students met and had a small round table with the past president Dr. April Kapu to speak on current trends in the nursing profession.
