Electrical Engineer

Throughout my academic career, I have been afforded the opportunity to explore various specializations and specialties ranging from signal and systems engineering to power systems and generation. My time with ADTRAN Inc furthered my interest in the professional engineering field and aspirations as an engineer.

Experience

ADTRAN Inc. Technical Intern Sr. Huntsville, AL May 2023 – August 2023

-Designed and innovated prototypes including the 32-port aggregation switch.

-Developed efficiency in engineering design programs such as HyperLynx and Mentor Graphics tools.

-Aided lead engineers in innovation and research. Including the uses of e-fuses in air cooling system protection.

-Investigated and improved power efficiency in high and low voltage power supply rails.

-Worked in a team environment to improve efficiency in production lines and processes through immersive experiences.

Blazer Motorsports Organization President Birmingham, AL August 2021 – January 2024

-Worked on a team of 3-5 members to design and fabricate a collegiate level competitive dune buggy.

-Utilized SolidWorks to design and fabricate system parts.

-Designed intricate systems.

-Fabricated structure and systems from various materials including polymers and alloys.

UAB Project Lab Project Lead Birmingham, AL January 2021 – December 2021

-Worked in a group to design a device that teaches disabled youth to use a power wheelchair

-Communicated with clientele involving our product and their needs

-Gave presentations to the team and clientele during the product development process

-Designed the first 3 physical, scale prototypes of the device

-Helped design and update electronics in the prototypes
