Responsible for the Religious Services Department at the United States Penitentiary Lee, which consisted of a USP and a Satellite Camp.

Provide grief counseling and emergency notification to inmates for death and serious illness in their family, as well as routine support and counsel.

Lead weekly Protestant Chapel Service, including preaching, teaching and engaging inmates to actively participate.

Provide memorial services for inmate’s family members that passed.

Provide crisis debriefing to staff members during a protracted crisis.

Manage materials, resources and schedules necessary for all religious services, including recruitment and training of volunteers.

Oversee six-month faith-based reentry program, including individual mentoring, group processing and teaching goal-setting for various aspects of inmates’ lives.

Managed a crisis support team to debrief staff in crisis.

Worked as Federal Contract Technical Representative for government contracts. Ensure contracts are within the guidelines of the Department of Jusitce.

Acted as the Warden in his absence. Ensure all operations of the prison are running during normal operations and all inmates are accounted.

Developed Federal policy for enacting religious participation within the prison according to the Religious Freedom Restoration Act, 1993.

Served as the volunteer coordinator for Religious Services. This includes training new volunteers with a four hour block of training and for a 2 hour block of training for renewals. Conduct background checks on volunteer using the NCIC database.
