Summary

I am a NREMT certified EMT-P, with a Critical Care endorsement, previous EMT-B, with 20+ years in emergency services, who is patient-focused and remains calm under pressure. I am also BLS Instructor certified, as well as Instructor/Coordinator-EMT in MI. I am driven to provide exceptional care during emergency situations. I am also an educator. In my current position, I combine my two passions of education and EMS into one position.

Accomplishments

I am very motivated to acquire more knowledge to continuously better myself. I have gone above and beyond what is required of my current position as a Critical Care Paramedic, as well as an Assistant Coordinator for Florence County EMS. As a previous 911 Operator, I feel I have gained a better understanding of the EMS system and how it works behind the scenes, from the second a 911 operator answer their phone, to getting the appropriate help to our caller(s) to avert an emergency situation or to save a life, all while working against the clock.
