VOLUNTEERING

Attended a religious weekend class for 2 hours, assisting about 10 kids with their classwork and homework.

Tutored about 5 kids daily in 2 hours throughout July and August to help improve their classroom performance.

Attended a school trip for the week, which was Farmers For City Kids Foundation. This was assisting farmers with their jobs, such as cleaning the cows, growing crops, feeding baby cows, and learning their everyday life routine. This was about 7 hours a day for over a 1 week. PROGRAMS

In my elementary years I attended a cooking program for 3 hours, to learn basic skills and made some delicious dishes like chicken salad and lemon cookies .

During summer I attended the Summer Youth Employment Program. The provider worked with was “Research Foundation-Medgar Evers College.” This was online learning and it was about how the industry works. The session was three days a week and about 3 hours a day. Then during 2023 I joined another Summer Youth Employment Program. The provider I worked with was “Italian American League.” This session was online, three days in a week and about 3 hours during those days. The provider taught us about the injustice system. Then we had a one day in-person trip where we talked about fighting discrimination.
