Job description: Quality Analysis CND Lab
Certifications: Fork lift(9 years), Stand up lift (9 years), Sweeper(9 years), JLG(9 years) and bicycle trained
Responsibility: Casing and Drying moisture lab; communicate daily with Control Room Specialist concerning the moisture level of the tobacco input in the computer, tare out scales at the beginning of each shift to ensure accuracy of the moisture level recordings, responsible for filling out RJRT Official Documents each day and filling out a new document at the beginning of every month and turning them into the appropriate management.
Job description: Material Handler/Quality Analysis/Assistant Lead
Responsibility: Material Handler; responsible for moving appropriate number of boxes with coinciding lot numbers to appropriate feeder, would then place boxes into hoist to be sent up using a scanner, occasionally I would help out with raking out boxes into the feeder that needed to be feed, would unload and load necessary trailers for DIET and would create manifests and close out manifests as needed, would help with the use of the Box Packer when needed, would communicate with the CNC Control Room Specialist as to how much was left or if needed to add other coinciding boxes to feeder and have canned off said feeders in the event the Control Room could not take all of the product and would print tickets for each can used. Quality Analysis; was responsible for printing out DIET Lab Forms at the beginning of the of each shift, tare out scales and recorded each for the scales, Ro-Tap and Sieve machine, I would then collect samples for each test I was to perform and enter data into the appropriate fields on the computer, I was also communicate with the Upper DIET or Lower DIET depending on the issues that needed to be addressed. As required I would assist the Lead in daily duties such as instructing other employees of individual or group activities as they were needed.
Job description: Searcher; was responsible for searching the tobacco for NTRM (Non Tobacco Related Material) and disposing of these items in the red buckets provided on each individual line, when the said run was complete we would cleanup the line and it’s surroundings and wait until the next run began, in the event of Patricia Lipscomb wasn’t there I would help with passing out and collecting the PPE for that day and turn in the corresponding PPE sheet, I would give breaks and help as needed.
Job description: Vuse; Quality Analysis; was on a line that ran cartridges through the machine and we were to inspect said cartridges and were to discard them in the appropriate buckets throughout the shift, we would also from time to time run these cartridges through a machine to check for good cartridges and bad cartridges and place them in corresponding buckets.
Accreditations: I worked side by side with Dave Claxton and Eric Dellinger on the Bug Committee. We attended regular meetings as well as working on weekends to help find and control the bug infestation in different departments. I have also assisted in the help of 3rd shift cleaning, boxing out and running the DIET Lab when called upon. I was also called upon by Fernando Ruiz for additional testing on different components relating to the different recipes for production.
Having knowledge of the Ignition system in which I use everyday and MES hand scanner whenever necessary, knowledgeable with Microsoft software, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
I have volunteered for the Pop Warner Association as HEAD Coach and as well as TEAM MOM for this organization, helping guide not only my children but those of others using positive relationships. I was acknowledged with an award for my participation.
