Software Engineer and Data Intern May 2023 – August 2023

Penske Truck Leasing Reading, PA

Developed a comprehensive system to monitor cost and analyze AWS Athena and Glue usage within the different departments of the company using CloudTrail logs, AWS Glue, and Athena APIs.

Implemented ETL jobs to filter CloudTrail logs, Glue and Athena events, storing the filtered events in a designated Amazon S3 location.

Utilized Athena API and AWS CLI to gather metrics on data scanned by user queries and developed a Glue job to extract and store metrics in Athena.

Wrote Python Script using Boto, AWS SDK for python, to loop through query IDs, extracting relevant information from Athena API.

Integrated AWS QuickSight to visualize metrics and insights obtained from the metrics by designing various dashboards and tables for other departments to analyze and visualize data.

Extreme Tic Tac Toe Game (Java, GUI, Object Oriented Programming Principles)

Developed an interactive tic-tac-toe game using Java’s Graphical User Interface (GUI) where a human plays against the bot on a 3x3 board.

Applied fundamental Object-Oriented-Programming principles such as Inheritance, Polymorphism, and Encapsulation to enhance the game’s architecture.

Designed and integrated a user-friendly Graphical User Interface featuring a game board and buttons for user’s moves.

Utilized a random number generator to introduce unpredictability and realism to the bot’s moves.

Developed a Single Page Web Application (SPA) that displays detailed weather forecasts based on the user’s location.
