NPI (New Product Introduction) of 12 new part numbers for El Paso facility, procurement of raw materials, tooling, and setup of machine process settings. Successful testing of samples (4-part numbers already in production, 4 approved and 4 pending approval).

Support and define optimal setup parameters for plastics extrusion. Design of the necessary jigs and fixtures needed for the production process and quality area. Development of process procedures and machine setups. Maintain tools inventory database for PVC and Polyethylene areas. Update Quality plant documentation (Control Plan, Process Flow Chart, PFMEA) according with ISO requirements. In charge of transferring all process documentation during plant consolidation, such as work instructions, process, and training guides. Verification and calibration of quality control equipment. Responsible for UL and CSA plant visits.

Maintain thorough knowledge of all processes and production equipment, optimization of the existing machine setups for best product quality as well as for highest possible productivity. Direct process and equipment enhancements and modifications leading to improvement in safety, quality, cost, and productivity. Implementation of production of new products on PVC and Polypropylene areas. Responsible for providing support in troubleshooting new and existing equipment on issues beyond normal maintenance repair or preventive maintenance.
