KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Design
Tool Design: Applied Solidworks for Naval Vehicle quality installation and lead time improvement.(VMS, Year of 2014)
Save Northrop Grumman lead time by not using other’s -designed parts. Proved the viability of a one standard NG fastener for X-47B AMAD lead time improvement and installations. This was achieved by comparing other’s fasteners with Northrop Grumman’s and using “Stress Similarity Comparison Method.” (NGC, Year of 2009)
Developed successful large bore fluid Tee Fitting for ANSI B31.1 and ANSI B31.3 Code (Year 2004)
Designed and received FAA approval new cargo container($8M in revenues) for Federal Express project -Telair/Aircargo (Year of 2001).
Stress Analysis / Engineering
Classical Hand Stress Calculation to improve C-5 Cargo Airplane Gear Box Housing design (Year 2004)
Performed load and stress analysis for Boeing 747 lower deck cargo structure. Per FAA-DER direction, received FAA approval and achieved the airworthiness directive for customers Boeing and China Air Lines (Taiwan) - Telair/Aircargo (Year of 2001)
Substantiated through test and analysis Airbus’s latch design and showed it meets the minimum 5000 cycle requirement. This was achieved by the following: Designed and implemented a lifecycle test and applied “Fracture Mechanics” methods. (TA Manufacturing)
