Successfully coordinated and facilitated the planning and implementation of all Provincial activities - workshops, trainings, awareness campaigns amongst other activities to reduce further HIV transmission.
Represented people living with HIV on different fora in the Province and collaborated with sectors ministries and departments working in the area of HIV. Conducted regular meetings with community leaders including village heads, Councilors, Chiefs and Members of Parliament for project buy-in, project updates and their input to enhance their capacity to deal with HIV.
Facilitated the production of the department’s annual budget and closely monitor the department’s spending in line with the budget's provisions.
Produced on time weekly and bi-weekly narrative and financial reports. Created networks with various stakeholders in the Province for comprehensive programming. Facilitated the formation of support groups for people infected and affected by HIV to enhance treatment adherence and improve the quality of life of people living with HIV. At Christian Care I worked on projects supported by WFP, UNHCR, IOM and Canadian Food Grains Bank. Facilitated trainings on Conservation Agriculture and organic farming practices to promote sustainable agriculture and reducing adverse environmental effects to farmers in Chirumhanzu District with close collaboration with the Department of Agritex.
Introduced the concept of Farming as a Business and 7 trainings on Record keeping, budgeting, financial literacy, marketing amongst other components.
Conducted routine pre and post input distribution evaluations with communities to assess areas of strength and weakness.
Participated in the provision of temporary shelter for displaced households as a result of floods in Mberengwa and Gokwe with support from IOM to eliminate further harm to affected households. Facilitated in designing, planning, monitoring and evaluation for the Canadian Food Grains Bank project resulting in the successful extension of the project. At Concern Worldwide I worked in various positions on different projects. The projects received support from WFP, Irish Aid, European Commission, DFID, Garden Trust and ECHO. Conducted situational analysis and baseline studied for the development of an HIV prevention programme. The data collected fed into the birth of a 5year HIV programme in Manicaland and Midlands Provinces.

Fellows Program
In 2009 I was seconded to attended a fellowship program in Uganda at The AIDS Service Organisation
(TASO). The programme was aimed at allowing attachee's to learn from Uganda's successes in the fight against HIV and AIDS. From the skills acquired I influenced the development of a skills development programme amongst youths in curbing HIV in Gokwe North, Gokwe South and Nyanga districts. This has contributed in the reduction of HIV prevalence and incidences. Reference
