• Advertised television shows by conducting interviews with community members and posted discoveries and photographs on social media platforms.
• Served as editor-in-chief for the HCC Newsletter after serving as a writer and editor.
• Special Correspondent for the Tampa Tribune, conducted research and reporting on events happening within the community.

From the moment I walked in, it was apparent how impactful the Break Free event was to be. From working to get the amazing silent auction items available, to gaining the support of sponsoring vendors. The emotion-evoking guest speakers and most of all the survivors in full glamour for the fashion show were truly moving. I was thoroughly impressed and emotionally moved during the night. I gladly bid on many of the auction items and was also happy to donate to the VOH charity. That night awoken my spirit to become involved in supporting such a great cause. The huge task that Lori Ann has taken upon herself in founding this charity is beyond words to describe and the help / hope VOH offers those in need is truly something you should be immensely proud of.

Lori Ann is someone who really does think globally and acts locally. She has successfully branded “Visions of Hope International” and has been contacted by countless women and men from Riverview (and beyond) who are breaking free and in need of guidance. Lori Ann is the conduit they need to find resources and support. I believe Lori Ann is saving lives.
What’s most incredible about Lori Ann is the fact that she has escaped the clutches of domestic violence herself. Not only has she saved her own life, she’s saved her children’s lives as well. She knows first-hand why it takes some victims a long time to find the courage to leave. She is a sounding board and a voice for those who need her.
