Software Developer Technical Lead

I am currently a Technical Lead for the Clinical Trials Division (CTD) of the multinational biotech company ThermoFisher Scientific. My responsibilities have grown over the past 12 years where I am now the Technical Lead for global integrations and web services. My daily tasks include the leadership of teams on work using a multitude of different technologies and environments.

Working in the biotech industry and being primarily focused on clinical human trials I am also widely versed in SOX, GxP and CFR Part 12 requirements and regulations and am very comfortable working in a highly regulated and audited environment.

My skills sets that make me valuable to TMO is my versatility and my ability to adapt to new technologies and methodologies. This means I am able to move from one project to the next regardless of the technology being used. To this end I also am constantly looking for ways to improve efficiency, productivity and quality using various tools such as PPI (Practical Process Improvement).

I design, develop, and support data integration systems between customers and the clinical supply chains systems.

I Lead the development team efforts to realize seamless data integration using industry leading technology and strategies.

I Design and developed integration systems to facilitate communications between our in house WMS and a robotic warehouse.

I was the primary developer for a consulting company that operated primarily in the pharmaceutical industry.

I designed, developed and implemented various client applications primarily focused around supply chain management. These systems relied heavily on Oracle PL/SQL packages and Informatica ETL workflows to which I was an integral part of the design and development of.

I redesigned and developed of a legacy .Net and SQL Server web based system used to plan and manage medical publications requirements used by various clients to accurately plan and execute required tasks necessary for medical findings to be published for review and approval.
