Making sure all the lot numbers and the best by dates to be recorded in the system and have QA check the fresh food that comes in. Also unloading trucks everyday. And making sure that they go into the correct type of refrigerator or freezer or ambient. Controlling a good GPA is important when you're dealing with food. So that's what I'm doing. Inspects and receives the rolls by entering them into the system and labels the rolls.While entering the rolls ensure that they are placed in inventory using the FIFO. I also work in the Shipping department on occasion when they are understaffed. We use scanners to identify the product coming off the lines of production. Then load all orders directly into the according trailer in which it is going to be delivered.I have worked the Baler when things got backed up on the floor.
