Property and project manager. Collecting rents, signing leases, deposits, bank meetings, budgets on houses we flipped, all purchasing, payroll, hiring, firing, schedules, excel, word, email. Light accounting, I worked daily with a team of 3 of the companies accountants. They taught me things a bachelor's degree never could! Started in the company as a housekeeper. Moved up to property manager within 3 months. Within 2 years, was promoted also, to the project manager of the company. All the way up to, working directly with and under the operations manager and the owner! It's unfortunate that in 2019, the owner had some legal and business issues, that affected myself and 27 other employees, jobs. We were all let go on January 1, 2019. However I can say with great gratitude and appreciation, that that company allowed me to grow. To learn everything my curious mind wanted too. To achieve and learn the ins, outs and loopholes to how a business runs. From the housekeeper to the operations manager, to the accounting team, to meetings with bank execs! Ran a crew of 6. Inventory, scheduling, had the number one store. Always made bonus.Started off a crew member and within 2 months, became assistant manager. Also received employee of the year in 2012! Which beyond the recognition I received, they gave me a $300.00 visa gift card for employee of the year! Great company! They seen my potential, and allowed me to grow! Reason for leaving this company was the housekeeping Jones lease position. As a cleaner I made $20.00 an hour. Which was a significant increase in pay, compared to leaving wage (hungry hobo) of $14.00 an hr. Probably around $16.00 after adding in monthly management bonuses.
