WORK HISTORY:

Growing Smiles Pediatric Dentistry—Bel Air, MD 10/2022 –05/2024 Full time patient coordinator, traveling between our three offices. Duties include answering phones, checking in and out patients, scheduling appointments, verifying insurances, reading charts and X-rays, calling in prescriptions, typing treatment plans, and processing payments from patients. NVS Merle Norman Salon—Bel Air, MD 11/2023-current Part time front desk receptionist. Answer phones, schedule appointments, greet clients, ring up sale transactions, count deposit at the end of the day. I have keys and security code to open/close salon. Do daily laundry.

Fallston Liquors--Fallston, Md 03/2023 – 08/2023

Part time cashier position. The number one responsibility was customer service. The job also included answering phones, ringing up sales, working the lottery machine, carrying purchases and bags of ice to vehicles.

Expresscare--Bel Air, MD 03/2020 – 07/2020

Accepted and trained for the Medical Receptionist position. Used the computer daily to check patients in, contact their medical insurance company, and input all their medical information from that visit. Schedule Covid testing appointments or follow-up appointments. Used the fax machine . Due to the pandemic, my training was cut short and I was transferred to the Overlea location, where I was alone at the front desk for roughly 13 hours a day. I learned to heavily multitask. Due to the pandemic, I left that position.

First Team Staffing Services –Aberdeen, MD 10/2016 -- 03/2017 Office Coordinator of the Aberdeen branch. Mostly clerical work, but Idid have daily face to face interaction with the public. Used their filing system to type up temps’ applications. Filled out legal documents for employment for temps (W4s and I9s). Daily emails, phone calls, and faxes to corporate office and in office recruiters. Also, administered drug testing to potential employees.

Ronnie’s Beverage Warehouse/Rocks Liquors – Forest Hill, MD 03/2014 – 09/2022 Started as a part time cashier. Many pluses to this job. It was close to home, I either opened the store or closed the store, and I got to work with the public. Handled money for 8+ hours per day. Counted drawers from time to time. Received keys to the store, security code, and safe code. Made gift baskets for customers. Helped organize wedding orders and deliveries. As of 07/2020, received title of Front-End Manager. Wrote all the List Checks for all liquor/wine, ranging anywhere from $30-$150,000, biweekly and input them and all invoices into QuickBooks. Order all supplies. Interact with sales reps via phone, email, and face to face. Place orders for merchandise. Participate in tastings of potential new products. Train all front-end staff. Responsible for interviewing, hiring, and firing staff.

Eagle Environmental Services – Fort George G. Meade, MD 12/2012 – 01/2014 As a security escort, I was responsible for ensuring persons that are not cleared follow all security guidelines that are in place while they are performing work in a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF). At times called upon to be a team lead for less experienced security escorts.

Calvert Retail / Kitchen & Company -- Bel Air, MD 09/2005 – 06/2011 Started as a clerk in the store and after proving my versatility and the can-do attitude, I was offered the position of assistant manager and eventually store manager. In this role I was responsible for scheduling employees, managing inventory, keeping the sales floor neat and organized as well as opening and/or closing the store. As you know, there are times when customers are not happy with a purchase or procedure and often ask for a manager. I would on occasion have to work with these customers providing them the high level of friendly service regardless of the situation. It was also trusted to me to count all monies at the end of the shift ensuring the registers were balanced properly.

Giant Food Inc. – White Marsh, MD 05/2000 – 06/2005 This was a part time job while I was still in high school. I started out stocking shelves, packaging baked goods and working with customers by taking special orders. After graduation I was offered full time employment and eventually worked my way to assistant manager of the bakery department in 05/2005
