Working and Operational Knowledge

Pumps: Experience in dismantling, maintenance and assembly of Single Stage and multistage centrifugal pumps (Boiler Feed Water Pumps, cooling Water pumps, Crude and Vacuum Residue pumps), reciprocating pumps (plunger pumps, chemical dosing pump ) Gear pumps, Screw pumps and Vane pump, etc. Alignment of pumps, vibration check, mechanical seal check, abnormal sound check, oil viscosity check, suction and discharge pressure checkups, filter and strainer check, operation and trouble shooting, etc. Valves: Experience in maintenance and operation of hydraulic valves, pneumatic valves pressure control valve, Flow control valves, direction control valves, simple relief valve, unloading valve, sequence valve, pressure reducing valve, NRV valve, ball valve, gate valve, gas stop valves, ESD valves, deluge valve, sub surface safety valve, etc. Compressor Unit: Experience in maintenance of centrifugal compressor, reciprocating compressor (CO2 Compressors, Ammonia Compressors), screw compressor, air dryer, oil separator, oil lubrication system, air and water cooling system, etc. Hydraulic and Pneumatic systems: Experience in maintenance, operation and troubleshooting of pneumatic systems, pneumatic valves, cylinders, actuators, motors, FRL unit and hydraulic system, hydraulic motor, cylinder, valves, pumps, strainer, etc. Engines: Experience in maintenance of diesel engines, cooling and lubrication system, oil pump gear and rotor type, direct injection and indirect injection, cylinder block, cylinder head, liners, piston, piston ring, crank shaft, cam shaft, connecting rod, timing gear, valve timing mechanism, trouble shooting. Air and water cooling radiator, radiator pressure cap, impeller, thermostat valve operation, Fuel feed pumps, mechanical and electrical fuel pump, fuel injector, fuel filter maintenance. Power generator diesel engines of fire water pump engines like caterpillar, hydraulic oil pump, valves, air compressor, operation and safety Precaution etc.

Fans & Blowers: Having experience to change the blade angles, belt aligning tensioning in the pulley with Driver, exchangers, vessels, columns, boilers maintenance. Safety Devices: H2S safety, fire safety using crown gas tester, (CH4, H2S) fire extinguishers

– (foam, DEP and CO2) fusible plug operation, deluge valve operation, breathing apparatus, safety jacket, gas detector, smoke detector, heat detector operations, H2S detection, fixed monitoring system, electronic monitors, tube detector. Oil terminal equipments: Experience in maintenance and operation of product metering skids, product loading systems, product off loading systems, ESD systems, control valves, relief valves, etc.

Other field experience: Experience in erection of pipeline, maintenance and testing, maintenance of Heat Exchangers, Gear Boxes and Blowers. Fixing and removing seals of pumps and compressors, alignments of pumps and compressors, motors. Operation of oil transfer pump, fuel gas scrubber, inert gas generator, flare stack, sump tank, operations of air system, Chemical inhibitors, etc.
