My name is Jerry Jean-Baptiste. I was born March *, 1999 in Brooklyn, New York but raised in Spring Valley, New York Rockland County. I work at the Martin Luther King Multi Purpose Center After School Program. I started as a junior counselor and continued as a senior counselor and I've worked with the little and middle boys group(Ages 5-8) and currently work with the older children group (Ages 8-12) I am also CPR certified. My goal in the program is to help guide the kids with life skills and show them how successful they can be. We treat the kids like stars and our job as counselors is to help them shine bright! I've also worked at Fedex as a floater, Shoprite/Staples as a cashier, and Jawonio Inc., as a DSPA for elderly seniors with special needs and I have worked for Kids First Services as a Behavioral Technician. Communication skills is key and another thing I would love to fully understand and utilize to the best of my ability and pass it on to anyone making a difference within their selves and settings.
