In this position I utilized my great customer service skills by greeting the customers with a smile on my face and asking them how they are today when they pull into the service department . Also with this position I was would take the cars that were being serviced there and I would wash the outside of the car then I would pull them into the service driver and give them a vacuum and a small detail. Also in this position Schepel offered the customers a ride home if there car has to stay overnight and sometimes I would I have to take customers home in a company vehicle and if requested by the customer I would have to pick the customers up sometimes. I would also on my downtime make sure the shop stayed clean and tidy, by that I mean I would do a full sweep of the shop, also doing full mops of the shop with degreaser where the mechanics work make sure everything is cleaned for them . I would also make sure all the Repair Orders Were in order and all organized for the service manager. At Schepel I also was trusted with a demo ( a take home car) . I dealt with paperwork with the service advisors to make sure everything was correct for them . in this position I utilize my painting skills and I used a compressed Spray Gun and I paint all the steel that is fabricated in the shop . I also safety drive the forklifts and move the beams that are 20 foot plus long. I have to locate pieces of steel with order tickets that have the sizes that is needed for the order and once I locate go get them with the forklift, I pick them up safely and place them to be cut. I also cut the steel beams with a torch and marked them with the appropriated measurements . I also did other duties as directed but all industrial.
