Pacific States Aviation, Concord, CA Job Title: Parts Manager As Parts Manager, was responsible for efficiently and effectively purchasing, warehousing, and distributing inventory. The duties included but were not limited to ordering, identifying, controlling, segregating and maintaining all parts, stock, tools and inventory. Also responsible for preservation and tracking of all articles, parts and inventory that are subject to deterioration and shelf life limitations.

● Managed the Parts Department to ensure company policy and procedures were followed

● Track, maintain, and order as necessary all consumables such as oil, solvent and cleaning supplies

● Removal of all waste products generated by the facility

● Locating and removal of imperfections on panels prior to painting. Treatment of scratched and chipped areas with plastic or liquid filler. Application of paper and masking tape to protect unpainted surfaces, such as bumpers, windows, chrome trim and other parts while surrounding areas are spray-painted. Blending of panels and sanding of adjacent panels for blending preparation. Locating the paint code on vehicles to determine the proper color to match original color. Assist painter with matching color for painting. Spraying primer for paint and refinish to ICAR standards. Smoothing unmasked surfaces with sandpaper removing gloss, to prep blend panels. Sanding rough spots. Jamming of parts and jams - pre-completion of job.

Post painting:

● Removal of masking tape and cleaning vehicle. Movement of vehicle to designated area for buffing.
