During her career at LSEG, Nishani gradually succeeded from the role of Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to the QA Consultant to the Senior Specialist QA. Her key responsibilities in above projects were:

● In the immediate past role, Nishani led, functionally managed, mentored and guided the QA team of exchange-credit integration capability in the LSEG FX Integration Program, overseeing two agile scrum teams and guiding them since the inception providing technical and leadership expertise. QA team size was 10 with 3-4 direct reports overtime.

● She defined, communicated and implemented test strategies, quality standards, software quality assurance processes and methodologies and aligned them with the organizations policies, processes, SDLC & delivery standards while adhering to the stakeholders requirements, testing needs and ways of working.

● She developed and implemented quality control frameworks and tests; defined, documented and implemented QA best practices too.

● Nishani outlined testing requirements and identified testing requirements related to the business and functional requirements.

● In her past roles in LSEG, Nishani successfully implemented automation solutions in multiple projects to be effectively utilized in project delivery.

● She crafted action plans, built underlying frameworks and capabilities from the scratch, adeptly onboarded and as a subject matter expertise, she mentored new team members, harnessing their potential to deliver smoke, regression and functional test suites.

● Nishani conducted 100+ interviews as a technical interviewer during the recruitment process, hired and trained over 10 individuals in different levels. She provided necessary day-to-day technical leadership and conducted conflict-resolving.

● She reported issues and anomalies in the system in the issue tracking systems (inhouse Abacus and off the shelf JIRA/Confluence), validated and closed them when fixed. Provided daily, weekly status updates via Defects Reports and Status Reports to Senior Management.
