I am the security supervisor for the cruise ship terminal. I supervise a team of roughly 50 security officers and I oversee them to make sure they perform their job duties correctly. Job duties I oversee range from screeners who check bags prior to boarding the cruise ship for weapons, alcoholic beverages, ammunition, and explosives to CCTV which monitor a 24 hr a day 7 day a week live Security feed for the terminal property. I was promoted to a supervisory position after 9months with the company, prior to being promoted I was the lead screener. I was awarded this position because I'm punctual, thorough, diligent, and hardworking.
