Adjustment in the pushers of the rotary help guide the plastic into deep corners. Many tools need reworked using tig or mig welding along with sculpting of filler Aluminum, Internal copper and stainless steel water lines often needed reattached or re soldiered and verified using a pressure test of air and water. Operate an NC Bridgeport Mill or a Monarch Lathe to complete tooling for proper trimming or tooling modification. Repair TCU(temp control unit) needed to heat or cool the aluminum tooling. While adjusting oven temps and Thu temps it is also necessary to have a temp gun(laser) as the hot or cold ambient temp outside of this process may cause lack of or excessive shrinking of the plastic causing improper finished lengths and out of spec inventory. As Tool Room Supervisor I had to keep inventory of consumable welding and grinding pads and welding wire, and gasses.
