Designation: QA/QC Engineer – Civil (Certified ISO-9001:2015 QMS) Ds- M a x p r o p e r t i e s P v t . L t d DESIGNATION: QA/QC ENGINEER – CIVIL ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for the quality of every activity, thorough knowledge of all phases of engineering construction relating to Civil and Structural discipline interfacing the multidisciplinary operations.
Perform all daily inspection and test of the scope and character necessary to achieve the quality of construction required in the drawings and specifications for all works under the contract.
Carry out Internal Audit at the site (regular Site Surveillance) as scheduled in the Project Quality Plan, PQP.
Submit Inspection Request for Engineers Inspection.
Cary out inspection and checking for all quality related procedures in the site and ensures activity at the site are according to the project Specification, Method Statement or as per approved shop drawing.
Ensure implementation of all design requirements including design verification at site.
Review quality of all materials at site and ensure compliance to all project specifications and quality and collaborate with department for all material procurement and maintain quality of materials.
Taking care of QA/QC documents of the entire project including certificates, calibration, test results, inspection requests, non-compliance reports and site instruction/observations, permanent materials delivered and other QA/QC documents.
Prepare QA/QC periodic reports. State all performed activities in the past period and critical issues noticed. Including the submitted and to be submitted documents.
Coordinate with the consultant’s representative and Site in-charge for inspection and meeting about quality problems including the closure of Non-Compliance Report.
Ensure proper interaction and co-ordination with Client, Site Laboratory and Site Team for project co- ordination.
Liaise with client and consultants on matters relevant to quality assurance/control.
Report to the QA/QC Manager, control, and monitor all activities related to Quality Management System, QMS.
ADNOC Pipeline Network Division-Maqta DESIGNATION: QA/QC ENGINEER – CIVIL ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Executes the specific inspections on materials, equipment and construction/installation activities on site.
Monitoring the construction activities to ensure that standard specifications and requirements are implemented and as per AFC drawings to obtain quality of work.
Responsible for Project Quality documentation and implementation of Project Procedure, Project Quality plan.
Preparing Quality Control Procedures, Inspection and Test Plan, Work Procedure and Method Statement for various project activities.
Verify that the materials receive during the construction phase are inspected for compliance to Standards, Code, Specification and quality requirements.
Ensuring all incoming materials are inspected, as approved and stored properly as recommended.
Supervising construction of civil activities such as Earth works, foundation works and Structural works.
Monitor Conventional piling and CFA piling for the requirements of Drawing and specifications like dimensions and rebar Details.
Ensure implementation of all design requirements including design verification at site.
Ensure that the process of work is in accordance with the method statements and approved drawings.
Monitor the quality control aspects and instruct site engineers in case of deviation and propose corrective measures to be applied.
Review drawings and specifications, Laboratory Test Results, Inspection and test plan, and Method Statements for implementation.
Witness along with the client representative and consultants on testing of materials, field soil tests and structures if it conforms to the design / specifications of the international standards. (E.g. concrete sampling, trial mix, Field density test & MDD test).
Prepare Inspection Requests and other quality related reports/documents of every activity and monitor accomplishments.
Implement all aspect of quality assurance/control system on all materials; maintaining proper records of test results and calibration reports of test equipment’s.
Identify nonconformities if any during inspection and various stages of project and initiate corrective/preventive actions.
