Role: Data Migration Lead

Managed Data Migration tasks and team of 5 resources onshore and offshore aiming to migrate hundreds of thousands of T-Mobile's customer data, transactional and billing data from existing legacy database to new Database with more than 99% of accuracy in the migrated data as well as getting 20% less time in the cutover window through extensive cycle of testing and improvement/optimizations.

Overall responsibility to design, create and maintain Data Migration scope, plan, strategy as well as led a team of 4 + 2 vendors for migrating hundreds of thousands of Claro's Customer data, Device numbers, Transactional and Billing data from existing legacy system to new business solution in Panama, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador.

Led data mapping sessions from legacy system to EB21, former BSCS as part of migration to new Billing solution for Digital Venezuela performing several customer sessions identifying and recommending several actions for cleansing the data before migration which improved the data migrated.

Led execution and resources in the Pre Go live migration cycles for thousands of Claro's Peru Postpaid customers as part of migration to new Billing and Charging Solution with 98% of accuracy in the quality of the data throughout the executions.

Validated all migrated Master and Transactional data from SAP for each data migration cycle by using excel spreadsheets and communicated any failures or discrepancies to be fixed by customer team.

Overall responsibility to manage Data Migration scope, plan, strategy as well as team of 3 for migrating hundreds of thousands of PDVSA Petroleos de Venezuela customers and accounts from legacy SAP to new SAP version using SAP Data Services as technology.

Handled with the migration, validation and reconciliation as well as conversion efficiency for SAP ERP data FICO/MM/SD Master and Transactional Data such as: Customer, Vendor, Material, Routing, Profit Center, Cost Center, AR/AP, Bank, Inventory, Sales Order, Purchase and Production Order, among others reaching a 97% of success in the final implementation.

Worked actively with functional and technical consultants to analyze data migration requirements and translate business requirements into technical specification.
