ExxonMobil, Iraq Feb 2018 – Sep 2020

Reservoir Surveillance Engineer

• Responsible for monitoring daily oil production, water injection performance, and overall field levels at wells and stations to ensure approved quotas were met.

• Analyzed and monitored field performance, determined locations for vertical/horizontal drill wells, generated, designed, and implemented work-over/rework projects, and conducted pressure transient testing.

• Conducted reservoir engineering studies including analytical and simulation techniques to provide the technical assessment necessary for decision making.

• Analysed well performance of wastewater injection wells to monitor and predict water injection performance and accurately specified the maximum injection capacity for each well based on reservoir integrity constraints.

• Ensured the quality of injected water parameters were according to the required specification.

• Daily follow up and interaction within the Multidisciplinary team to assure the planning and execution of workover in addition to drilling are according to plan.

• Prepared and issued the monthly and annual water injection and oil production reports.

• Participated in the maintenance of the production and injection database in coordination with other involved disciplines.

• Participated in water formation and oil compatibility studies with service companies.

• Updated the well performance models, capacity, and production limits based on the analysis of production test campaigns to define the maximum production capacity per well.
