Proficient in SMAW 2G, 5G, and 6G carbon pipe, in varying schedules and diameters. Can test for certification. GMAW - Proficient with butt and lap joints, some experience on small diameter pipe, stainless, and aluminum.
Familiar with purge systems, pipe rack, some blueprint, and branch layout.
Trade Tools & Skills
Prepping plate and pipe for iron and most alloys; grinding, beveling, landing and prepping the surface to specification. Safe and familiar understanding of oxy/acetylene cutting, including track torches, and saddle torches.
Experience with most shop tools: skids, cranes, lifts, and fall safety equipment.
