• Decontamination- Scan ( SPM ) the dirty case cart as recieved including the inside of the cart from OR and Clinics will be assorted and seperate the manual cleaning regarding on the IFU's.Reusable equipment like wound vac,iv pump manual cleaning with wiping 70% of alcohol.

• Assembly- Scan ( SPM ) receipt the instruments from the washer and will process every instruments like Ortho, GYN, ENT, NEURO and General instruments and follow the count sheet and make sure there is no debris and put biological indicator and filter on the container. Steam tape for the wrap and also peel pack for the single equipment like forceps or clamps.

• Sterilizer - collect all the instruments to be ready to sterilize and scan ( SPM ) first including the Steam Biological Indicator before to load. For the Sterrad on the first load always have chemical indicator and biological indicator for any cycle. Make sure all instruments completely dry before load to avoid cancel cycle.

• Building case carts - will print the schedule for the next day and pick the instruments and supply every case number. Make sure will complete all the first case for the next day. Also I answer the call from OR for the add on or emergency case cart and some instruments and supply they requested.

• Clean, prepare, sterilize, and install equipment for medical procedures, surgeries, and examinations. Also ensure that equipment, instruments, and supplies can be reused safely to prevent infection. Sterile Processing Technician
