Software Engineer

Worked on projects that supported processing of billions of transactions daily and worked to develop a spring framework-based microservice that uses AI-generated metrics to notify customers of possible fraud. Used Java with IntelliJ, Springboot, Hibernate and Oracle SQL to refactor legacy code, stream and store data. Communicated with stakeholders to understand business requirements and how to fill those needs. Maintained transaction processing and notification management functionality. Created and scheduled jobs with Pivotal Cloud Foundry and Jenkins. Created dashboards and alerts in Splunk for internal clients.

Helped build a processing environment for the $883B India market within 6 months, which when implemented, allowed Mastercard to operate in the country. Process was documented in Confluence to provide a foundation for implementation in other regions.
