Researcher CRITICAL MATERIALS INNOVATION HUB & CSM; Golden, COLORADO, USA 2023 – Present Conducting research related to critical minerals, considering novel aspects in exploration, mining, and extraction process. Focused on lithium and REE geology and recovery process investigation.
Also, addressing exploration target assessment over the Red Mountain Lithocap from Lake City (Colorado) -Thesis project. Exploration Manager C3 METALS PERU; Cusco, PERU 2021 –2022 Oversee the exploration program in the advanced Jasperoide project and Greenfields assets throughout the most proliferous SSE Peruvian porphyry-skarn trend Andahuaylas-Yauri Batholith. Later transferred to Jamaica to assess the newly porphyry District “Crawl River Fault Zone”. Reporting directly to VP Exploration.
Managed an $8M budget, through two contractors, comprising 50 people, including 5 geologists and 5 technicians.
Managed time and cost control drilling more meters with lowest cost per meter.
Generated: three skarns and two outcropping new porphyry systems over Andahuaylas-Yauri Batholith. Chief Mine Geologist MINERA BARRICK MISHQUICHILCA; La Libertad, PERU 2018 – 2020 Budget proposal and management of >$10M project. Led Mine Geology and Brownfield exploration, Ore control (considering coal, sulfide, & Cu as discriminant material), modeling database and resource estimation team for LOM operation and near- mine exploration projects. Assessing pre-feasibility of gold recovery in refractory & carbonaceous material at Lagunas Norte. Responsible for EOY annual report, in accordance with NI 43-1010.

Lead Geologist CAZA GOLD CORPORATION; Camoapa, NICARAGUA 2015 – 2016 Conducted exploration team in the Nicaraguan ‘Andes’ trend, generated high sulfidation targets with transition to porphyry systems. Executed and supervised 1:2,000 and 1:5,000 scale and regional scale mapping, geochemical sampling, and drilling programs. Led brownfield/greenfield drill hole campaign, with two core rigs, & one contract, comprising 35 people.
Spearheaded and guided all litho units in the accurate interpretation of 2D and geophysics datasets, geochemical evaluation, and structural geology to achieve drill hole targets.

Economic Geology Consultant INDEPENDENT PROFESSIONAL; Cusco, Lima, PERU 2013 – 2015 Executed with Dynacor numerous projects assess over NW site of Andahuaylas-Yauli Batholith porphyry & skarn trend. Conducted underground labors and surface structural mappings. For Estrella Gold Corporation, executed projects assessment and mining claims acquisition options over the Peruvian Coastal Batholith, ending with Yanac Porphyry technical report. Both cases, conducted and supervised 1:2000 and 1:25,000 scale mapping, sampling.
Constructed ‘Genetic Model of Tumipampa Distric’ to led to successful future drilling and geology operations.
Discovered el Potro Porphyry deposit, Tumipampa Sur gold mineralized systems in brecciated quartzites, and silica- oxide gold rich veins at Tumipampa.
Senior Mine Geologist MINERA YANACOCHA (NEWMONT); Cajamarca, PERU 2011 – 2015 Led Yanacocha Verde Project, conducting infill drilling and metallurgical test work. Developed descriptions for hydrothermal alteration, sulfide mineralogy and clay logging criterial. Responsible for compiling the regional monthly report for Newmont South America, under Director of Geology supervision.
Led 12 staff geologists reporting to me & eight Geol Techs.
Conducted brownfield campaign, with twelve core rigs, one RC rig through three contractors comprising 300 people.
Developed 3.2B lb. copper resource because of teamwork. Regional Exploration Geologist MINERA YANACOCHA (NEWMONT); Cajamarca, PERU 2004 – 2011 Designed and conducted local and district scale mapping, geochemistry sampling, geophysics works, and drilling programs over Conga Porphyry District. Amount budget managed $5.0M (under Chief Geologist supervision). Led two staff geologists reporting to me, and four staff assistance. Co-ordinated with Community Relationship, Security, Safety-environmental, Legal, Permitting, Contract, Public Relations-Communication teams.

• Re-logged more than 350k meters of DDH/RCD to build 3D geological, alteration, and structural model from Yanacocha Mine.
• Obtained approx.100K Oz Au as reserves over Arnacocha.
