HSSE SUPERVISOR:

Responsible for the implementation and dissemination of health, safety, security and environmental procedures and policies for the re-entry and initial completion of OMOFEJO - 1 well for NUWAY OAKLANE LIMITED. Also, oversee the activities listed below but not limitedo the following

Conduct HSSE inductions/awareness/orientation and consciousness for all personnel on the rig site in accordance with all applicable safety, security and environmental procedures, policies, requirements and regulation.

Ensure HSE critical equipments onboard the installation is properly maintained as directed

Facilitate and participate in all crew meetings, pre-job meeting/toolbox/job safety analysis (JSA) process prior to the commencement of job activities or shift and provide HSE inputs and feedback.

Ensure that all HSE requirements are communicated to crew members including use of STOP Card and UA/UC card

Review STOP cards generated onboard the installation and ensure the effectiveness of STOP programme.

Conduct weekly HSE meetings

Identify potential hazards and mitigate hazardous conditions observed onboard as required.

June,2016- June, 2018: HSE Supervisory Functions, Asset-base projects and access controller (GOLF 8) carrying out and enforcing the compliance with the use of basic PPE’s by contractor personnel, SCNL vendors, suppliers and visitors to the fabrication yard and other facilities of the operational base.

Feb, 2016- June, 2016: SAFETY SUPERVISOR -QUANTUM INTEGRATEDMETHANOL PLANT PROJECT-carried out the HSE functions for SCNL during the Bathymetric survey, off the Atlantic Ocean.

RESPONSIBILITES:

My duties consist of, but not limited to:

Preparations of HSE work plans and procedures.

Advice the project HSE Manager on matters related to safety, health, community and environment.

Checking that safety equipment on site is in good working order.

Liaise with safety personnel of the client in order to co-ordinate activities pertinent to safety of personnel and equipment.

Collection and update of statistical data relating to accidents and incidents on site.

Taking necessary steps in order to ensure that all personnel comply with safety regulations.

Check that all equipment is approved in compliance with the local law/regulation.

Check that the personal protective equipment utilized by personnel are in good conditions and compatible with health and welfare.

Check that during the execution of all phase of work hygiene and safety rules are applied.

Inform all the workers about health and safety rules by means of brochures, signals, meetings, etc.

Carry out HSE functions of the company within its operations.

Review and update HSE audits and plans for every job operations.

Carry out hazard analysis on new job operations/ activities

Carry out investigation of incidents / accidents of all kinds and review fall outs with members of HSE team.
