Care includes preventive care, chronic disease management, MAT, pain management and management of common mental health conditions seen in primary care including depression anxiety and ADHD

30 hours per week spent working in a primary care setting with mostly adults who could be uninsured or underinsured in a community health center, hopefully decreasing barriers to care, and trying to improve health outcomes.
Also working 8-12 hours per week as a primary care provider in the Health care for the Homeless program, in shelter settings around Allegheny County helping residents access health care for chronic disease management and acute concerns as well bridging mental health and addiction care while working with community partners to connect residents to services needed. This year, there was the additional opportunity to work closely with ACHD testing shelter residents for COVID-19 and educating residents about COVID-19 and vaccines.
