Wrote a Best-In-Class multi-level Parent/Child Bill of Material/Assembly application that can be nested infinitely to handle any size assembly. The assembly can contain raw materials, purchased parts, manufactured parts, and manufacturing operations. Raw materials and purchased parts are all linked to the database, so if standard costs change the assembly can be updated automatically with new pricing. Importing a SolidWorks assembly was also supported.
