The IMF (Insurance Master File) is a retiree health and life administration system. The system is written in COBOL on the HP3000 utilizing KSAM file structure. IMF is an integrated processing system. The system is designed to provide primary online support to all policy maintenance functions with a nightly batch processing cycle to support posting and reporting of the online functions.

NACHA: National Automated Clearing House Automation

This is a compliance project, where in due to the separation of association & retiree client’s business, the banking information is to be masked & tokenized.

HOIS Backend:

Travelers Personal insurance covers Homeowners as well as Personal Auto Policies.

Homeowners Issue System, takes care of the Homeowners policy of Travelers PI. Homeowners coverage covers personal and family exposures of owner occupied dwellings. For tenant policies, the named insured must be a tenant of a dwelling or apartment. HOIS backed receives the policy quote and issue details from the front-end user Interface and internally communicates with Business Rules System (Underwriting) to rate the policy and communicates the rate to SUI.

LCR ATM Withdrawals:

As part of the LCR Aggregation ATM Withdrawals project, Teradata Production Deposits received new transaction codes for new reporting systems.

LCR Single Bank:

This project is an enhancement to the currency Reporting Unit, Systems and processes to align with a strategic vision of BOA Global AML policy and to ensure Bank of America is in full compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act. As part of this project, various regional files of different formats and sizes were combined to a single file for warehouse. It simplifies the handling and report generation.

Mobile Remote Deposit:

Bank of America for the first time implemented mobile remote deposit, where paper cheques could be deposited into account using mobile banking app. Over 20 application teams worked in synchronization for this implementation.

CANW (California North West Conversion) Ancillary Projects:

Kaiser Permanente Data System (KPDS) is a computerized communication system for processing patient information for the Kaiser Foundation Hospital and Permanente medical group. KPDS is composed of four major components and serves as a gateway into another ancillary systems associated with patient care.

The ADT (Admission, Discharge and Transfer) system expedites the admission or registration of a patient into the medical center and controls the patient movement. The OE (Order Entry) functionality of KPDS allows for timely and accurate entry of physician orders to the ancillary departments. The Emergency services (ES) utilizing the ADT & OE modules of KPDS provides patient tracking for the Emergency Services departments. The PSS (Perinatal Services) provides patient tracking for labor and delivery department. The system also feeds few other systems like ARRS, RISS, Health connect and CBORD. It provides services for all SCAL local and regional business offices, during the business hours of Monday – Sunday 24/7. The application uses IMS database with interface to various other applications.
