CAP ended due to Board conflict that terminated S.A.V.E.

Led business development activities for creation and launch of Mandela Grocery Cooperative (MGC) retail grocery store, including creating training curriculum for Worker/Owners, conducting all training sessions, contributing as primary author of business plan and securing financing & funding for store. Member of team of two that successfully secured over $600,000 for store. Store opened June, 2009 at 1430 7th Street, Oakland across from West Oakland BART, and continues to operate as of January 6, 2020.

Eastbay Campus Coordinator/Adjunct Instructor 5/97 – 12/05

Responsible for all recruitment, enrollment & retention related operations and long term development of the East Bay Campus operations. Also Lead Adjunct Instructor for the East Bay B.A. Completion program. Developed curriculum for program and contributed to Academic, Administrative & Fiscal Competencies work for WASC. Under my leadership the tuition revenue grew from $170k to $740k (2000-2005).
