PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Norco, Boise, ID Oct 2022 – Present
IT Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Manager
Currently leading and directing Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, and Helpdesk teams at Norco in Boise, Idaho. Responsible for the implementation and oversight of cybersecurity and infrastructure projects initiated to improve Norco’s IT foundation. Also manage the Helpdesk support team that provides 1500+ customers with comprehensive technical service.
Key contributions:
Implementation of cybersecurity tools to provide Norco with an extremely extensive protection scheme that was installed within 5 months (including the inception of a managed detection and response (MDR)). This toolset, combined with the highly motivated team at Norco, was able to score a 97% audit score during our most recent penetration testing performed in October of 2023.
Direction and oversight of a resilient IT architecture foundation that was designed and built by our infrastructure engineering team at Norco. This entailed collaboration with our engineering vendor and co-location support team. This effort allowed us to establish a sub-24-hour recovery point objective (RPO) for Norco and created a Disaster Recovery (DR) path in the event of the need for system recovery.
