Responsibilities
• Review of applications to make sure they are submitted complete.
• Once accepted as complete data entry and review through multiple systems.
• Background checks through DPS/CJIS to determine if there are any possible items that would make the applicant unable to obtain a permit/license under the Alcoholic Beverage Code.
• Processing of multiple different types of applications from start to finish. Including requesting any additional information required to complete in said processing. All requests are time sensitive.
• Keep track of applications daily to see if the timed request has passed and follow up communication is required.
• Daily logs kept for communication emails and phone calls both internal and external. As well as application processing logs to keep track of all files in process and their time frame.
• Daily contact with applicants as well as internal daily communication with fellow licensing specialists, audit and enforcement divisions.
• Answering the phone. Usually the calls are licensing related, how and what permit/license type to obtain. How to start the process and providing help and instruction throughout the process. If the call is not for licensing, I get them to the voicemail of the division they need to speak with.
• I’m alone in the office 90% of the time. I keep track of postage, mail, deliveries, supplies and greet and attend to any visitors. Note- The office is currently closed to the public due to COVID 19.

• Billing all accounts for next day delivery, keeping track of everything billed (Accounts, inventory counts, amounts owed, etc.) and items out of stock on excel spreadsheet. • Running statements, checking all bank activity daily, and processing money through Fintech
(an online EFT service.)
• Keeping branch manager and supervisors informed of any collection issues or problems.
• Billing larger accounts that require more time and pricing specifications.
• Working closely with the warehouse to make sure returns are properly checked and put away.
• Coordinating with other warehouses/ office staff to ensure enough product is available, in each branch, to meet customer orders with minimal out of stock items.
