Objective

Using my acquired union knowledge and collaborative skills, I will always work as a team member alongside fellow laborers. Various companies will benefit from my impeccable work ethic, mastery in the sheet metal trade, and flexibility in terms of appointed position on each jobsite. Though welding is my passion and focus, I am able to fill the shoes of various laborers due to experience and a willingness to learn. I would like to grow beyond the union, develop new welding techniques and work my way up the ladder of success.

Under supervision, fabricates, erects, and repairs sheet metal structures such as ducts, metal ceilings, tanks, storm louvers, roofs, etc.

Cuts, bends, shapes sheet metal to required dimensions.

Measures, cuts and welds pieces together according to specifications, blueprints. Or directions.

Connects pieces or secures seams by riveting, rolling, soldering, or using steel screws.

Follows and implements specific directions.

Works collaboratively with partner.

Keeps tools clean and in an organized fashion.

Regular communication and collaborative work with several partners and foreman.

Is flexible and able function successfully moving to and from varying locations.

EMG Industrial Chimney: Welder

May 2010- October 2017

Assembled pieces of metal together

Repaired damage in metal components using heavy machinery that emits high heal, melting metal into shape.

Welded and install stainless steel chimney liners.

Reviewed blueprints, cutting metal into the appropriate shape and smoothing molten metal to remove creases.
