My product was Advertising Space and was sold by phone and in-person to professional businesses such as medical practices, hospitals, realtors, and car dealers and all other businesses retail and wholesale, etc. wanting exposure to large numbers of consumers and other business professionals. Our products included outdoor signs for their location, which included static, electronic and scoreboard advertising at golf courses. Responsibilities consisted of advertising sales and account management, hiring and training sales reps and traveling throughout a 7 state territory.

Because we were seasonal I was afforded lots of spare time so I worked in a lot of different ventures on a temporary basis, so I know a little about a lot of different businesses and that’s why I believe that I have great value for your opportunity.

We purchased the store, which was actually a pawnshop at the time, from a friend that wanted to retire. We offered him some cash and contracted with him that would split profits on everything in inventory until the debt was paid in full. It took about 18 months to drop the pawnshop image and invoke an image of quality and class for an upscale clientele. We worked 12-hour days and operated this store until the debt was satisfied. Within 4 years we were carrying 12 different lines of fine Swiss watches and sold large quantities of fine gold and diamond jewelry. We employed and managed a staff of 20+ salespeople, 2 bench jewelers and 2 certified watchmakers and gemologists. We were also manufacturing jewelers and had many wholesale accounts nationally.

Other Experience Includes – Car Sales, Vacuum Cleaners, and Home Improvement Sales, B2B, B2C, worked with 10 different CRMs. This description is brief due to the vast amount of Business and Sales Experience that I have.
