Responsibilities.
Develop, implement, monitor and maintain organizations HSE Plan and policy.
Leading the overall HSE team at project sites by monitoring & conducting the site HSE inspections, trainings, Implementing the local legal and client HSE standards within the projects.
Delegate responsibilities to Safety Officers and Safety Assistants to provide an effective safety monitoring and supervisor support program.
Identifying various training needs to meet legislative requirements, statutory training requirements pertaining to trade skill training being compiled i.e., training for crane operator, riggers, scaffolders, inspectors etc.
Maintain project Safety Management System (SMS) in compliance with Project Safety standards and regulations by HSE Plan and local legislations.
Preparing of Daily, Weekly and Monthly Health, Safety and Environmental Reports as per tho organizations requirements and maintain records.
Preparation for contractual 03rd party audits conducted by Saudi Aramco/ SWCC 3rd party,
Submission of Report and Maintain record for project incidents, near misses, and accidents through official protocols and data shall be recorded
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the SMS, recommending improvements as needed.
Prepare and Update of MOM for Weekly HSE Meeting and Safety Communication Meeting with Client and Project Subcontractors.
Controlling of Project Health, Safety and Environmental documents such as Plans, Procedures, JSA's, MoS, JSL, Incidents and keep maintaining records accordingly
Keep maintaining Project HSE KPI based on daily, weekly and monthly JSL's, Observation from client-ATAR, and Data form Subcontractors HSE Personnel.
Consulting and convincing to site construction team (engineers and managers) for safety compliance in all the activity and housekeeping issues.
Giving safe solutions to the construction team about the safety is an issue during the work.
Reporting to the safety manager about the safety requirements at site. And getting follow ups.
Issuing safety violation notice to the operatives and staffs while committing the safety violations during the work at site.
Coordinating with night shift safety engineers about the night activities and informing to the issues which should be vigilant and giving proper handing over.
Closely involved in the preparation of project documents i.e., Method Statements & Risk Assessment, HSE Plans & Procedures.
Responds to sub-contractors’, site employees & staff’s safety concerns.
Assuring all required PPEs are available at store in stock and timely informing to the HSEM for attention.
Checking at intervals that work is carried out as in accordance with the company’s statutory procedures and that work systems are operating effectively and safe working methods are observed.
Ensuring that all employees are aware of their specific responsibilities.
Investigating all accidents and dangerous occurrences, in conjunction with external Safety Consultants as necessary.
