I greet clients and various drivers at the main gate to determine the correct dealer identification code for vehicles entering the main lot and direct them to the check in area and/or the appropriate area required. I monitor traffic entering and leaving the lot. I restrict unnecessary wreckers and/or personal vehicles, unless otherwise requested. I verify all Vehicle Identification Numbers (vin) on all vehicles leaving the lot and then exit them from the system with a handheld scanning device. Also, I scan all gate passes and daily pick up sheets into the correct computer apps utilizing front office equipment. I collect all license plates; holding them for 90 days unless redeemed. I assist wgere necessary in Operations, Transportation, and Customer Service; i.e., picking up and dropping of vehicles, driving vehicles in the auction, and miscellaneous tasks that might be required.
