Experience

From the ages 8 to 20, I work alongside my aunt when she holds events for her non-profit organization helping kids in need to succeed. Every year we hold two major events back to school and a Christmas giveaway. I helped her plan the sequence of events that took place and made sure everyone was having a great experience and a good time. I was captain every year for my middle school and high school career while also managing the position of high school student council president for 2 years running and senior class vice president. At The Texas Southern University I also became Vice President of our equality organizations. I helped plan events such as poem nights, meet and greets, welcome parties, study hall and also making sure that everyone left feeling and/ or taking something impactful from the room.
