From September 2014 to October 2016, I worked in a Regional Referral Hospital as a Pharmacy Store Manager under the Ministry of Health. My responsibilities included pharmaceutical supply management, promoting rational drug use, preparing the Hospital's list of essential medicines and treatment guidelines, monitoring patient drug safety, conducting workshops for health professionals, and contributing to research and development of clinical pharmacy practices.

From November 2016 to August 2018, I was promoted to Regional Pharmaceutical Service Chief Manager. In this role, I oversaw the procurement of pharmaceuticals and medical supplies for 42 health facilities and hospitals within the region. My duties involved monitoring the drug and medical equipment transaction system, strengthening Pharmacovigilance activities throughout the region, supervising health facilities to ensure rational drug use and proper stock card handling systems, inspecting private drug outlets (pharmacies), private clinics, and cosmetic shops, controlling narcotic and psychotropic drugs, monitoring and evaluating Adverse Drug Reactions (ADRs), Adverse Events Following Immunizations (AEFIs), and issues related to Poor Quality of Pharmaceutical and Diagnostic products. Additionally, I established a Traditional Medicine unit, conducted training for health professionals on Pharmacovigilance, AEFIs, Logistics Management Information System (LMIS), and rational drug use, and facilitated the formation of Medicine and Therapeutic Committees (MTCs) in hospitals. ************@*****.*** Tele: +251*********
