The following is a guideline to communicate the responsibilities of the Project Engineer for Exelon (PECO) Leased Line Optimization Systems Installation for Transmission & Substation Projects.

Act as interface facilitator between the LRE, Construction and EOC

Work with the LRE to refine project scope through Phase 3

SPOC for Field / Construction questions

Coordinate disposition of all Field Change Requests (FCR)

Control distribution of design drawing transmittals

Generate Material Requests (MR) to order minor material when required.

Maintain an Engineering Action Item list.

Conduct biweekly engineering calls between the LRE and EOC to track Engineering schedule and facilitate resolution to

open items

Review IFA & IFC schematic and S&C drawings

Ensure a dig permit is generated by the EOC and facilitate LRE approval.

Ensure scope documents are updated to reflect latest criteria.

Coordinate and schedule engineering and technical site walk downs.

Obtain technical proposals (Geotech, Survey, SPCC, Ratings, etc.)

Participate in site construction status meetings.

Coordinate the review of IFA project drawings with other team members.

Gather all project TAWI drawings, review for legibility, and transmit them to EOC.

Ensure all Cascade data is gathered and transmitted to the Cascade group.

Ensure rating sheets are generated and distributed to the team.

Ensure project drawings (SLD, RPD and L&P SLD) are sent to TSO.

Review material specifications

Review major material quotes.

Support the Field Engineer & Construction Manager as required.

Review Material Requests and ensure Need Dates match the schedule for when material is expected onsite.

Track material to ensure it is delivered to the field in time to support the scheduled dates.
