1. Position: Marketing Assistant
Institution: Waterfall College
Duration: May 2023 - Present
Duties: My duties as a Marketing Assistant consist of, but not limited to, creating and curating appropriate marketing content for social media, as well as copy to accompany it. I work side-by- side with my colleagues to compile quarterly reports to be presented before the school’s board and ensure that the school’s media catalogue is up to date. I also write copy to be mass distributed on MailChimp and PR articles to be published on several publications across the Upper Highway and nationally. As a person who is constantly striving to sharpen her skills, I am currently taking short courses focused on sharpening my video shooting and editing skills. 2. Position: Research enumerator

Duration: March – July 2021; March 2022 – December 2022 Duties: I worked as an enumerator for Rhodes University’s Critical Studies in Sexualities and Reproduction. There were two studies taking place concurrently: one was a structured questionnaire conducted over the phone, while the other was a semi-structured interview conducted either over the phone, via Zoom, or in person. The latter involved asking follow-up questions through listening to answers given by interviewees. In 2021 I worked as a research enumerator alongside a Master’s candidate in the Economics department. My duties included conducting in-person questionnaires, facilitating a focus group, and transcribing the focus group data from IsiXhosa to English. 3. Position: Marketing Intern

Duties: As a marketing intern, I was tasked with managing the Institute’s social media pages. I curated content for said pages and managed their daily upkeep.
