Managed Number Management System on Linux, AIX and Solaris platforms which supports the upward of 300 million dollars in the onboarding of new customers.
Managed Federal Communications Commissions (FCC) mandated Number Porting System. Once taking over support of environment identified environment was at risk of failure due to nonstandard configurations. A severe revenue loss would occur as many customers’ functions would no longer be accessible. Due to its criticality to the business worked with engineering on not only local but two geographical site failover and disaster recovery plans. Once implemented, customer impacts and outages were greatly reduced. Received achievement award from the business on the successful redesign and implementation of environment into production. This new design and implementation saved millions in both maintenance costs and from future loss in revenue.
Managed mission critical Unity environment for application suite across multiple sites which generates approx. 300 million dollars in revenue. Performed patch updates, cluster configuration changes while minimizing customer downtime. Received management acknowledgement for work the in bringing mission critical environment into a better support standard and thus saw a reduction repeated downtime. This was promoted to a higher compensation rate.
Led migration efforts to port mission critical OpenStack EOL customers to vendor supported version.
Directed effort for implementation of Trilio backup solution with OpenStack environment.
Coordinated and led critical Tenable application migrated within OpenStack. Worked closely with network engineering and by implementing plan eliminated requirement of customer to reimplement over sixteen thousand firewall rules.
