Information I have been coaching for 32 years, beginning at the junior high level

and moving up through all the levels of high school, including head

baseball coach. I have various camp instructor experience as well

as experience running my own. I excelled in three sports in high school,

and have a wide range of experience in coaching. I have very strong

backgrounds in football and baseball but also have experience in

powerlifting, track, and basketball. I have taught elementary PE,

in-school-suspension, alternative education, and TAKS math

remediation. I am also SPED certified and prefer this field.

In 1993, I was the hitting coach at Plainview High School. I improved

our team batting average from .260 the previous year to .332. In 1994,

it increased to .350, 1995 it was .341, and in 1996 it was .364.

As the head coach at Brady High School, in 1998, I improved the team

record from 9-15 the previous year to 14-10, then in 1999 to

17-7.

While serving as the pitching coach at Granbury High School in 2002,

I improved the team ERA from 5.74 to 5.16. In 2003, it improved to 4.08,

in 2004, to 3.87, in 2005, to 3.75, and in 2006, it improved to 3.55.

As the head baseball coach at Dalhart High School, I improved the

participation numbers from 12 players to 18, and a previous record

of 0-15 to 2-13 in 2007. The next year we improved to 25 players and a

record of 8-15 in 2008. In 2009, the participation improved to 42 players and a record of 13-11).
