My name is Christian Vasquez, I am 20 years old and I graduated from

Highland High school in June of 2022. I am currently enrolled at AVC working towards my AA in History which I am going to use to become a Special Education teacher. I grew up playing soccer so working in a team comes naturally, alongside working in fast paced situations. One hobby of mine is painting, which translates certain qualities into my work life, one example is attention to detail. When working on a painting everything has to be perfect, this translates into my work life, any task I am given has to be executed with the utmost attention to detail or else I feel unsatisfied.

AVID is a college prep course, in which my position is to help students grades 9th-12th with any questions or confusions they have regarding colleges, organizations, scholarships, etc. I work with groups of 8-10 students t0 help with their classwork or any assignments.
