The objection of the project is to produce 1.9 Bcf/d of feed gas (2.0 plus Bcf/day gas process) sourced from the domestic pipeline transmission system.

Provided 60% technical and 40% administrative support for over thirty projects in various stages and sizes of engineering and construction. The work included providing preliminary engineering analyses and preparation of conceptual studies including return on investment. Provided cost estimate for small projects and oversaw large projects design by working with consultant engineering firm to develop cost estimate and design, construction for instrument/ electrical, some included piping, mechanical, and structural disciplines as well. Prepared and submitted appropriate funding documentation. Managed capital projects from concept through commissioning.
Implemented power system study to provide coordination for sequencing fuse tripping and circuit breakers during system faults; Complied with Arc flash study for electrical switch gears. This effort involved replacing existing transformers with a higher impedance transformer; switchgears and MCC with higher bus rating. Used E-Tap to check power system and power coordination for entire plant.
Worked with Maintenance and Production to resolve problems with nuclear/radar/DP level gauges and flow problems. Revised PLC/logic relay on hot oil heater system to comply with NFPA. Worked with Maintenance to solve the plant wide alarm system problems by using the wireless technology with license frequency and integrating with phone system to broadcast prerecorded messages, PA, and siren throughout the plant in case of emergency.

Worked on specifications for medium voltage motor starters and provided electrical estimate for load center. Specified and designed the configuration for Shell security camera system in three Shell Refinery Plants.
7/1990 - 8/2006: GEORGIA-PACIFIC CORPORATION, Zachary, and LA
Electrical Project Engineer Manager: Managed projects and provided E&I support for the Port Hudson Mill.
Resolved problems with conveyor systems for fine paper, towel, and tissue machines to accommodate new demand by increasing production through PLC (Allen Bradley/Modicon/G&L/Siemen PLC). Developed cost estimate and submitted funding request and followed up from start to complete many projects which included new conveyor system line up from roll finishing to the final product. This work covered structural, mechanical, electrical, and automation; Worked with production technical assistants, vendor technicians and engineering consultants to start-up the conveyor line. Involved with many projects which included installing frequency drives for level control and for wood crane operations in the wood yard, pumps ranging from less than 1GPM to 2500 GPM, conveyors ranging from single to multiple line, starters from 120V to 2400 V, MCCs for system range from 120Volt to 2400V, 13.8V breaker feeders and power corrections. Worked with Maintenance to address instrument problems throughout the plant from nuclear level gauges through DP cells. Addressed and solved many flow problems in the bleach plant, boiler areas. Installed the first mill wide alarm system using wireless technology and integrating with the Gaitronic for the mill wide alarm system. Handled projects to replace water wells and drilling new wells to provide 100% water supply for the mill.
Provided weekend duty by managing union team members as E/I supervisors to address any problems. Provided shutdown coverage during mill outage and rebuilt digesters, boilers, and turbine generator.
