This location used to be VAC until Southwest Adi bought the company location. I worked in 3 departments:
Packer/Shipper: June 2022- July 2023
• Trained on the forklift and used pallet jackets to move different pallets to their areas
• Made sure all orders were correctly labeled and shipped on time, including making sure everything was accountable on a site called Netsuite
• Wrapped each pallet and loaded them on FedEx trucks
• Created shipping labels, on the FedEx shipping site, also created shipping labels through ShipHawk note: within my first three months I worked at the warehouse, I had gotten employee of the month, for shipping out 1000s orders in a week.
Freight Shipping Clerk:
• Created BOLS for each of the freight pallets to their dealerships. The warehouse used to use Worldwide Express until the new company changed to Priority one
• Loaded each of the pallets in the different dealerships on the specific freight trucks which consisted of: Central Transport, SAIA, DHE, etc.
• Handled will call orders. These were order we handed directly to the dealership parts driver. Each person handling the part signs will call paper work, with time and date, then annotate it in the system, Netsuite.
Note: i had worked this position as a cover position, employee was on parental leave at the time. This was for about 3 months.
Returns Clerk: July 2023 - Present
• Recieve all returns from FedEx, routes drivers and will call. For will calls the dealership driver has to sign paper work, and verify the correct part to paperwork.
• Damage out parts, some may come from inside the warehouse (shelf damage). Make sure damage parts are with correct paperwork that was filled out, and labeled with correct claim stickers.
• Make sure parts are not damaged, if they were categorized as not damaged.
• Input each order in the system, so customer can get their refund. Some parts will not based on the severity of damage.
• Unload any wheel cores from freight trucks or in loading area using a forklift, reach or a pallet jack.
• Inventory checks, where we count the amount of parts and update the system to the correct amount Note: I am limited with experience with the reach but, I am still learning and willing to train. Multiple Positions
